Audio and server-side programming.

Tim Hodgson studied music at the University of York, and computer science at Sussex and Exeter Universities, specialising in machine learning and pattern recognition. He has a particular interest in the application of these techniques to music and sound art, and has recently been programming and developing a set of Neuroinstruments; instruments which operate via a learning spiking neuronal network (and trigger sonic events after neuronal firing) with John Matthias, Jane Grant and Eduardo Miranda at the University of Plymouth. These instruments include the Neurogranular Sampler and the Stimulated Neurogranular Sampler, which form the basis of the instrumental technologies for The Fragmented Orchestra.
